Synopsis
This Focused Session will explore recent advances and challenges in the development of laser drivers for inertial fusion energy. It will bring together experts from laser physics, optical materials, and system engineering to discuss progress in high-repetition-rate architectures, novel gain media, thermal management, and beam combination strategies aimed at achieving efficient and reliable fusion-scale drivers.
