Schedule
The European Optical Society Annual Meeting, EOSAM, covers all aspects of optics and photonics. It is attended annually by around 500 top researchers, key leaders, students, and industry experts from over 30 different countries worldwide.
EOSAM consists of a week full of scientific, industrial, and educational programs, specifying each but also bringing together all domains. It is a great platform for presenting the most recent research results to a wide international audience, connecting and catching up, as well as bridging the gap between research, education, and industry.
On Monday, 24 August 2026, as in previous years, all registered attendees will have access to a series of tutorials covering topics from the Topical Meetings (TOMs) and Focused Sessions. Participation is free of charge, but pre-registration is required for each tutorial.
On Tuesday, 25 August 2026, a cocktail reception will be held at Tampere City Hall starting at 19:00 EET. Separate registration is required, but there is no additional fee, as the event is included in the conference ticket. Please remember to bring your conference badge.
On Thursday, 27 August 2026, Anne L’Huillier, Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics 2023, will deliver a plenary lecture. Later that evening, we will celebrate 35 years of EOS and 20 years of EOSAM at the Conference Gala Dinner at the Scandic Rosendahl Hotel Conference Center, the main conference venue. Separate registration is required and can be completed through ConfTool when registering.
