EOSAM Exhibition 25–27 August 2026
EOSAM Exhibition takes place from Tuesday 25 to Thursday 27 August 2026 in Tampere, Finland.
The exhibition is part of the European Optical Society Annual Meeting, EOSAM, a major international scientific conference. The conference program starts on Monday 24 August and ends on Friday 28 September.
EOSAM is attended by around 500 participants each year, including top researchers, key leaders, students, and industry experts from over 30 different countries all over the world.

EOSAM 2026 is organized by the European Optical Society (EOS), in close collaboration with Photonics Finland (EOS National Society Member), Tampere University, and the PREIN Flagship.

The photonics industry in Finland is characterized by strong growth, international collaboration, and is highly export-driven, focusing on markets in Europe, the USA, and Asia, with a growing presence in emerging regions. Key photonics competences in Finland include Optical Sensing and Imaging, Micro- and Nanophotonics, Lasers and Fiber Optics, and Extended Reality (VR, AR, MR / XR).
Tampere is the third-largest city in Finland, with every fifth resident being a student, making it a vibrant research and innovation hub. Photonics is a strategic focus area at Tampere University (TAU), which offers an international MSc in Photonics and coordinates national initiatives such as PREIN, I-DEEP, and FinnLight. Key research areas include optoelectronics, laser technology, imaging, and defense applications. R&D is supported by facilities like the FinnLight infrastructure, the SiPFAB pilot line, and 16 dedicated photonics research groups at TAU. Tampere is recognized among the world’s top-five imaging technology clusters, with photonics highly prioritised and advanced towards integrated applications and commercialization.

Industry Pitch

You will receive a speaking slot (up to 3 minutes) within a plenary session. All companies within the session will have the same length of speaking time. The session is moderated by a chair.
The sessions will not overlap with other scientific or industrial programs or exhibition visiting times.

Industry Poster
500 € for Non-Members & EOS Corporate Members
Companies have an opportunity to show their know-how to the conference attendees by sending a poster to be shown inside the conference room. This is an efficient way to promote your company. The intention of the poster is to present the know-how of the company (rather than marketing products).
There is no presentation involved with the poster. Companies provide the poster.
Industry posters will be reviewed for content by the EOS Industrial Committee.
The short abstract (max. 600 words) you submit is meant solely to describe to the industrial committee what your poster will contain, and it will not be published in the proceedings of the conference.
Accepted posters will be visible in the conference room for the duration of the conference. Acceptance will be made on first-come, first-served basis.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the EOSAM 2026 Exhibition and Sponsoring is done by contacting the Executive Director of the European Optical Society (EOS), Elina Koistinen: elina@europeanoptics.org .
Registration will be confirmed by email. The registration is binding. Registered companies are liable for all their booth arrangement costs. Full payment must be finalized before the event begins.
By registering, the company accepts the terms and conditions of the exhibition (needs to be updated).
- REGISTRATION ORDER: Registering companies are listed in a first-come-first-served order. This order will be used when selecting booth places in the Exhibition. The first to register will receive the most ideal spot, with Gold and Silver sponsors having priority.
- COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES: Companies are responsible for arranging their flights, accommodation, parcel shipments, and insurance, taking care of timetables, and providing EOS with the necessary information and materials (logos, extra graphics, texts) regarding the exhibition arrangements.
- EOS RESPONSIBILITIES: EOS is responsible for all exhibition communications and arrangements before and during the EOSAM. Invoicing for the exhibition is done through the European Optical Society Oy, a Finnish company fully owned by EOS.
- CANCELLATION: Registration for the EOSAM exhibition is binding. If a company would like to cancel its registration, they are liable for all costs incurred (e.g., exhibition space, booth, or related arrangements). Cancellation fees may apply. If EOS must cancel the event for any unforeseen reason, registration fees will be refunded.
