International Colour Day 2026

Colour is present in our daily lives and is a fundamental attribute that decisively influences how we perceive the world around us. In recognition of its importance, the International Colour Association (AIC) established the celebration of International Colour Day, which is commemorated each year on March 21.

To mark this occasion, the Colour Committee of SEDOPTICA is organizing an online event open to the public, to be held on the morning of March 26. The program will include a plenary talk and a session dedicated to presentations by young researchers. The call is open to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as researchers who have recently defended their PhD thesis (less than one year before the date of the event), offering them the opportunity to present their research through short talks of approximately 5–7 minutes.

The submission deadline is February 26.
