Newly Elected EOS Board Members

We are pleased to announce the official results of the 2026 EOS Board elections.
A total of nine candidates competed for five available seats. The election process was carried out successfully, and the elected candidates have confirmed their willingness to serve on the Board.
We warmly congratulate the newly elected Board members and look forward to their contributions to the European Optical Society.

EOS Board Elections 2026: Voting Now Open

The European Optical Society (EOS) Board of Directors elections have officially started and will run until 20 May 2026.
All EOS Members are invited to vote on the European Optical Society Board Elections 2026.
For the tenth time, the elections are being conducted exclusively online, taking place from 20 April to 20 May 2026. This year, five seats are to be filled on the EOS Board.

The Journal of the European Optical Society – Rapid Publications (JEOS-RP) is pleased to highlight a selection of five outstanding articles that reflect excellence, originality, and impact across the field of optics and photonics.
