The Journal of the European Optical Society – Rapid Publications (JEOS-RP) warmly welcomes new Editorial Board Members

We are delighted to announce the appointments of Muriel Botey and Azzedine Boudrioua by the EOS, as new Topical Editors of The Journal of the European Optical Society – Rapid Publications (JEOS-RP). They join the current team of Topical Editors and work closely with the Editor-in-Chief to the peer-review process of the articles submitted to JEOS-RP. Depending on the theme of the submitted article, the Editor-in-Chief selects the Topical Editor who will handle the peer-review process. As per the recommendations made by at least two reviewers, the Topical Editor proposes a decision to the Editor-in-Chief who retains the ultimate responsibility for accepting or rejecting the paper.

EOS Board Elections 2024 - Nominate candidates

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The European Optical Society (EOS) will be holding elections to the Board of Directors later this year.
With this Call, EOS is seeking nominations. The nomination period is now open and will last until April 22nd 2024.
Any member can nominate up to three candidates, and each candidate needs three nominations.

Welcome to PromOptica on board the Journal of the European Optical Society: Rapid Publication, JEOS:RP!The Belgian association for the promotion of optics, Promoptica, joins the EOS Journal editorial board, following several other National optics and photonics societies from Germany, Portugal, Italy and Spain, for an even better service for JEOS-RP readers and authors.
JEOS:RP is the online, open access Journal of the European Optical Society: Rapid Publications covering a large scope of research in optics and photonics. JEOS:RP is a peer-reviewed open-access journal which is listed with ISI Journal Citation Reports. ISSN 1990-2573. In addition to the scientific publications, JEOS:RP also publishes Industrial White Papers.As of the 1st of January 2022, the Journal of the European Optical Society - Rapid Publications is published by EDP Sciences.
